TheCarrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center (MEEC) is a major outreach center of Miami-Dade College North Campus, founded in 1989. The mission of Miami-Dade College is to provide accessible, affordable, high quality education by keeping the learner's needs at the center of decision-making and working in partnership with its dynamic, multicultural community. The MEEC Center’s supports this mission in addition to our specialized focus on entrepreneurship, economic and community development.
The Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center offers a vast array of college credit and non-credit courses for both degree and non-degree seeking students. Additionally, there are opportunities to pursue certificate and vocational programs as well as take part in a variety of seminars, conferences and workshops. Students at the MEEC can obtain workforce and business skills training to enter the labor market or become successful entrepreneurs.

The Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center is conveniently located right off I-95, on Northwest 7th Avenue and 63rd Street. The Center is easily reached by taking the NW 62nd Street exit off I-95. Upon exiting I-95, travel West on 62nd Street to Northwest 7th Avenue. Make a right-hand turn onto Northwest 7th Avenue and travel one block to 63rd Street. The Center is located on the left-hand side of Northwest 7th Avenue.

During peak registration, we also offer extended hours to meet the needs of our students.
