EmbassyWorld.com   Searchable database for embassies and consulates around the world.
Lonely Planet, The   A travel portal for travel guides, maps, current travel destinations, and theme guides for the independent traveler.
Planeta.com   Archive of information about environmental issues and ecotourism in the Americas. Includes some country profiles and extensive bibliographies.
Savvy Traveler, The   This is the website for public radio's The Savvy Traveler. It includes some transcripts from the weekly journals, Internet resources and has a nice searchable archive from previous shows.
The National Park Service   There is a weath of information on the National Park Service's website about national parks, monuments, battlefields, military parks, historical parks, historic sites, lakeshores, seashores, recreation areas, scenic rivers and trails, and the White House.
Travel Industry Association of America   A non-profit organization that promotes travel in the United States. Includes extensive links to related information including travel statistics, consumer information and travel publications.
U. S. Department of Agriculture's Travelers' Tips   Find here information in bringing plant, food, or animals into the United States. Includes a general list of approved products.
U. S. State Department Bureau of Consular Affairs   This site has current information regarding consular affairs and services with numerous links regarding travel, passport information, international adoption, links to foreign embassies, etc.
U.S. & International Airports   From the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), this directory lists websites of U.S. and International Airports. Also includes listings for both national and international regional airports.
USA Citylink   A commercial resource offering information on cities and states for travel and tourism. Includes links to cities that have websites on the Internet for good local information.
World Travel Guide Online   An excellent online version of the World Travel Guide that is used by travel professionals worldwide. Searchable by country or region.
