Center For International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN)   This portal from Columbia University uses resources from several disciplines (History, Urban Affairs, Health, Political Science,etc.). It's mission is to increase awareness to the "changing relationship between human beings and the environment."
EELink – Environmental Information on the Internet   This large site links to resources for both professionals and students interested in Environmental Science. It is a project of the North American Assoc. for Environmental Education.
EELink - State of Florida   Collection of links to environmental organizations and projects of Florida.
Everglades Ecosystem, The   This website from the Everglades National Park includes an excellent introduction to the ecosystem and information on topics such as: animal profiles, habitats, geology and fire management.
Gateway To Global Change Data   This gateway to global change resources from the U.S. Government is searchable by science discipline. Includes an "Ask Dr. Global Change" (no homework!) for help in finding global change data or information.
National Agriculture Library   One of four national libraries, this site is a gateway to many resources and institutions. Includes timely links to current agriculture concerns.
National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC)   This site is the national repository for geophysical information. Disciplines included here: Glaciology, Marine Geology & Geophysics, Paleoclimatology, Solar-Terrestrial Physics, and Solid Earth Geophysics.
NatureServe   Conservation, taxonomy and distribution status for more than 50,000 plants and animals in the U.S. and Canada provided by this site.
NOAA's Drought Information Center   The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) site for drought and climate conditions thoughout the U. S. A very informative site that includes both current and backgound drought information.
United States Environmental Protection Agency   The U. S. Government's comprehensive site on the environment includes current headlines and research information.
Visit eNature   eNature's field guides have descriptions and images of over 4,800 North American plants and animals.
Wetlands   This EPA Office of Water website covers many definitions of wetlands topics, restoration information, laws and regulations.
World Rainforest Information Portal   This site, a project by the Rainforest Action Network, offers numerous links to relevant information about all aspects of the world's rainforests.
