2. Review all recommendations of the Reengineering task forces, support as many as feasible, and provide a reason for any that are not accepted (LI). President's Council;

4. Develop a process to determine and share the perspectives of departing faculty, staff, and administrators on future directions in their areas (ES). College Area Heads Retired senior staff have served as consultants;  career ladders established in key technical areas so knowledge is not lost.  
5. Complete the development of performance evaluation systems for faculty, staff, and administrators (RE/CI).  Executive Committee;

6. Develop a process to recognize and reward the creativity of faculty, staff, and administrators (LI).   Executive Committee;

Endowed Chairs and Excellence Awards in place. See State of the College Report,  P. 16. Performance Reward system is a priority in Vision 2000.  
7. Develop mechanisms to encourage MDC faculty, staff, and administrators to create new software and new applications of technology (CTC). College Technology Committee;

College Training and Development Offers training to develop local web pages and software applications in MS Access and Excel.   
8. Develop an employee assistance program (EAP) to assist employees with personal concerns. Human Resources  No Progress. Implementation of other processes in the area has taken priority.
