Strategic Goal V- To provide an environment that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and accountability.

4. Develop a process to determine and share the perspectives of departing faculty, staff, and administrators on future directions in their areas (ES). College Area Heads Retired senior staff have served as consultants;  career ladders established in key technical areas so knowledge is not lost. é 
5. Complete the development of performance evaluation systems for faculty, staff, and administrators (RE/CI).  Executive Committee;

6. Develop a process to recognize and reward the creativity of faculty, staff, and administrators (LI).   Executive Committee;

7. Develop mechanisms to encourage MDC faculty, staff, and administrators to create new software and new applications of technology (CTC). College Technology Committee;

College Training and Development Offers training to develop local web pages and software applications in MS Access and Excel.  é 
8. Develop an employee assistance program (EAP) to assist employees with personal concerns. Human Resources  No Progress. Implementation of other processes in the area has taken priority.  ê
