Strategic Goal V- To provide an environment that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and accountability.

CTC = Collegewide Technology Committee ES=Environmental Scan RE=Reengineering Project
CI = Current Initiative ER = Education Review Project LI= Logical Inference
Objectives:
1. Review all recommendations of the Education Review task forces, support as many as feasible, and provide a reason for any that are not accepted (LI).
2. Review all recommendations of the Reengineering task forces, support as many as feasible, and provide a reason for any that are not accepted (LI).
3. Review all recommendations of the College-Wide Technology Committee Plan, support as many as feasible, and provide a reason for any that are not accepted (LI).
4. Develop a process to determine and share the perspectives of departing faculty, staff, and administrators on future directions in their areas (ES).
5. Complete the development of performance evaluation systems for faculty, staff, and administrators (RE/CI).
6. Develop a process to recognize and reward the creativity of faculty, staff, and administrators (LI).
7. Develop mechanisms to encourage MDC faculty, staff, and administrators to create new software and new applications of technology (CTC).
8. Develop an employee assistance program (EAP) to assist employees with personal concerns.
