Partnerships with Four-Year Schools

More than 70 percent of our students go on to four year institutions within one year of earning their Associate in Arts degree (A.A.) at Miami Dade College. MDC Students on CampusThis is at least partly because MDC has created articulation agreements with more than 60 colleges and universities — all in an effort to ensure students seamlessly advance to some of the best institutions in the nation. At Miami Dade College, our incredible partnerships and agreements with four year colleges and universities across the country can give you a distinct advantage.

MDC has articulation agreements with all of Florida's public four year universities (including UF and FSU), which guarantee admission once you have earned an A.A. degree. MDC also has agreements with the 27 Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) and with a host of out of state institutions, including Mount Holyoke College, the University of Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Berklee College of Music in Boston, the University of Texas, Indiana University, Michigan State University and Parsons School of Design in New York.

We also offer transfer options for students seeking the Associate in Science (A.S.) degree, allowing you to continue on to a baccalaureate program.
