| Favorite Class to Teach: | Acting Characterization. It is a lot of fun to open students up to the myriad of possibilities. I believe that the full spectrum of behavior lies within each of us-and we have to give ourselves permission to explore that. |
| What do you do To Relax: | Riding my bicycle in the morning, renting Netflix and enjoying a great meal with my new wife. (I got married for the first time at 55!) |
| Favorite Book/Movie/Music: | Music: I love Rock & Roll. I had a garage band when I was in high school and I still get together with most of the six guys when I'm back in Minnesota. [I also really enjoy Prince because he has allowed that soulful sound to evolve through the years.] |
| Favorite Ice Cream: | Coffee with nuts |
| Favorite Website: | New York Times Theater Reviews -- it's the first thing I read when I get to school each morning. |
| Most Proud Of: | March 31, 2007, the day I got married. |
| Why I Teach: | Teaching at New World School of the Arts has been a pleasure. The faculty enjoys teaching here so much none of us ever leave. The student population keeps getting better. They are committed, talented and are great people to be around -- it's truly exhilarating to behold. I want to be someone students can emulate. I love being in the craft of theater because it molds terrific human beings. |
