Associates of Arts Degrees
A.A. in Commercial or Graphic Arts (11004)
The Associate of Arts degree forms the first two years of a four-year Bachelor’s degree offered at various State of Florida universities. The A.A. degree focuses on academics—36 credits are required in lower-division liberal arts courses (1000- and 2000-level general education) and 24 credits are available for electives. Contact your university before taking the electives to see what pre-requisites are required for entry to their baccalaureate program.

Associates of Science Degrees
A.S. in Graphic Design Technology (26031)
A creative career track, this prestigious two-year degree imparts occupational skills in page layout, illustration and photographic editing software. A comprehensive graphic design curriculum of studio projects leads to an extensive portfolio and empowers graduates to obtain employment in advertising agencies, newspapers and magazines, design studios, in-house art departments, or as freelance artists.

Vocational Credit Certificates
Vocational Certificate in Commercial Art Technology (56004)
This 50-credit program enables students to quickly train for employment in the graphics industry. Although not as prestigious as an Associate of Science degree, the Vocational Certificate offers the advantages of speedier completion time frame, lower cost and avoidance of academic credits.
