Advisement The Academic Advisement/Counseling Department assists students in selecting courses and programs of study to satisfy their educational objectives. A staff of full-time advisors representing diverse educational and professional backgrounds is available to provide this service. All students are encouraged to meet with an advisor after gaining admission to the College. In order to best take advantage of the consultation, this appointment should occur after assessment testing and before registration. Returning students with declared majors should seek advisement from faculty in their major department. The Degree Audit lists the courses you have already taken toward your degree requirements and indicates which courses still need to be taken. Please print out your degree audit and bring it to any advisement appointment you make. MDC, SEDT courses which are no longer offered by the school need to be substituted for other courses in order to meet graduation requirements.
