Brooke Roberts-Webb

Brooke Roberts-Webb graduated from MDC/SEDT in Summer 2007 with an Associate in Science in Film Production, and has previously earned a BA in International Relations from Boston University. She curated exhibits at the Historical Museum of Southern Florida.

I made two short documentaries about the history of Miami Beach, "War Comes to Miami Beach" and "Miami Beach: Fabulous Fifties." for the Historical Museum of Southern Florida's exhibition, "Miami Beach: America's Tropical Resort." I researched, interviewed and edited the projects.

"War Comes to Miami Beach" (seen here) recently screened at the 2007 Newport Beach Film Festival in California and the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films.
