What is the Associate in Science in Radio & Television Broadcasting?
ABOUT THE MAJOR
Students learn to use the latest digital cameras and post production techniques from dedicated and highly trained broadcast professionals. The College’s television network, MDC-TV, affords students the opportunity to train in a state-of-the-art, High-Definition broadcast facility. Students perform all functions of a television production crew including; director, camera operator, floor manager, production assistant, technical director, graphics operator, audio engineer, and teleprompter operator. Field production and broadcasting practices enhance the student’s advantage towards gaining lucrative employment in the expanding South Florida radio and television industries.
