GREAT NEWS: THE 10-YEAR RULE IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT! Under CFT's previous 10-year rule policy, CFT credit expired for all courses taken more than 10 years prior to the date that an CFT student applied for a diploma or certificate. Under the revised policy, all CFT courses are now exempt from the 10-year rule. The decision to drop the 10-year rule will allow countless CFT students to continue pursuing their CFT Diplomas and Certificates and more closely reflects the policies of most colleges and universities.
