VITA - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

MDC's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program offers free help for Student and Low-income tax aplicants

A free service designed to help prepare Individual Income Tax returns for community residents.


Dates and Times

Regular Hours:

February 4th – April 15th, 2014

Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

February 8th – April 5th, 2014

Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The center will be accepting customers on Saturdays until 11:00 a.m. and will serve a maximum of 30 patrons on a first come basis


Items You Need to Bring

  • Social security card and the social security cards of any dependents to be claimed
  • Picture I.D.
  • W-2 earnings statement. (Interest, dividents, etc.)
  • 1099 MISC (for self-employed individuals only)
