Through the Community Activity Center, the Miami Rescue Mission provides academic and recreational opportunities for "at risk" youth. The program focuses on five areas: Computer Literacy, Homework Assistance, FCAT Preparation, the Fine Arts, and Physical Development.
Eight Miami Dade students (Haydee Alfonso, Erika Bellefleur, Alicia Berrios, Georgia Collie, Anthony Elmore, Ruthie Henderson, Sebastian Norena, and Gabriela Taylor) participated in projects at the Miami Rescue Mission Community Activity Center.
