Dr.
Spano holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of
Miami with a concentration in the administration of higher education. She
also earned her Master of Education degree from the University of Miami in educational research. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where she
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature. She has been with Miami
Dade
College since 1969 where she has held a variety of teaching and
administrative assignments on four campuses.
