Kristin Borgwald obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Webster University and Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Miami.
Her philosophical interest include normative ethics, applied ethics, social and political philosophy, and feminist philosophy. Her current research focuses on care ethics and aims to critically examine the theory, strengthen it from a feminist standpoint, and extend it into other areas of ethics and other ethical notions. She is particularly interested in the importance of epistemic self-trust and self-respect for both care ethics and ethics in general.
