Announcements
- The
Mathematics Olympics competition was held on April 20,
2007 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
The four students who participated were members of the
math club: Marlies Santos, Maria Coronel, Camilo Crespo
and Osmar Morales.
- Weekly
meetings are being held on Fridays in room 2205 from
noon to 1:15 PM mostly devoted to training for the next
mathematics Olympics. Several types of problems are
being considered, including the usage of technology
which constitutes a fundamental component of the
competition.

Who we are:
Students from Miami-Dade College who want to enhance
their knowledge in mathematics beyond the topics
covered in regular courses, under the supervision of
Professor Alvio Dominguez.
Our mission:
To
discuss interesting topics that are not usually
covered in regular courses and train for the math
competitions. |
