Weekly meetings are being held every Friday from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in room 2214 . Presently we are training for both the AMATYC competition and the next Mathematics Olympics to be held in March 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Several types of problems are being considered, including the usage of technology which constitutes a fundamental component of the competition.

Last year our team obtained the Second Place in the team competition and one its members (Luis Larco) won the first Place in the individual competition

Who we are: Students from Miami-Dade College who want to enhance their knowledge in mathematics beyond the topics covered in regular courses, under the supervision of Professor Alvio Dominguez.

Our mission: To discuss interesting topics that are not usually covered in regular courses and train for the math competitions.
 

Topics
