Responsibilities:

My responsibility as the Treasurer of this chapter is to fulfill the vital function of keeping financial records of all income and expenses accurately and current, make a financial report whenever my fellow board members ask me, and also prepare budgets and provide financial projections for planning purposes..

How do I deal with those responsibilities?

Organization. I make note of what goes in and out of our chapter’s account as well as the petty cash box. Also, with the help of my fellow officers, I am able to keep track of every transaction.

How do I manage your time to be part of the Board and to be a student?

Like my fellow officers, I make many sacrifices. However, I keep up with my schoolwork by using my time efficiently. When I don’t have class or any scheduled commitments to the board, I use my time to study and/or seek help from a tutor.

What has been the most challenging experience in PTK?

My most challenging experience was and is when I have to figure out the source of extra money with no account.

How PTK has changed your life?

Since joining PTK, I’ve come to know many people and more people than I know, know me. I stand out more as a PTK member and officer. Moreover, I am constantly learning different things from and about different people.

Why should someone become a PTK member?

It’s definitely a good choice to become a PTK member because you are not only going to improve yourself academically and get scholarships, but also gain skills through PTK’s leadership, fellowship, scholarship, and service activities.

Advice to future Treasurer...

The future treasurer should be organized, punctual, and trustworthy. It is also extremely important that the future treasurer to stay in close contact with the former treasurer.
