Welcome to the information detailing
the Scholarship
Competition for the spring of 2006. This is their second
scholarship competition. Their first competition was won by
Natalie A Davidson of Drake University.
They had close to 1000 scholarship essays from over 600 colleges
and universities. All in all, a great debut! disABLEDperson
Inc. will like to tell all that we are in the process of raising
more money so that we can hold multiple competitions and increase
our scholarship amount. We are doing our best to support our
community with their needs. Wish themluck.
Please pay attention to the rules of this scholarship competition.
They will be strictly enforced. Any essay that does not follow
all the rules will be disqualified. |

2006 USDA-HSI FELLOWS PROGRAM
|
| The U.S. Department of Agriculture
is now accepting applications for the 2006
USDA-HSI Fellows Program. The program offers faculty and
staff affiliated with Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) the
opportunity to work and study with USDA and other government
staff during the summer in Washington, DC (and other locations
as appropriate.) The Fellowship period may vary from a minimum
of two weeks to a maximum of six weeks. The program provides
travel, housing, and a per diem stipend. The USDA-HSI Fellows
Program has two tracks available to participants, the Education
Fellows and Science Fellows. For more information, and to apply,

STUDENT DIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP
|
| The
Student Diversity Partnership Program is an 8-week paid
summer internship program that targets undergraduate and graduate
students pursuing degrees in a variety of academic majors including,
but not limited to, biological, physical and social sciences,
engineering, business, mathematics, economics, international
affairs, public policy, and public administration. Interns work
side-by-side with experts at the U.S. Department of Energy and
gain practical work experience while exploring future career
opportunities with the U.S. Department of Energy and its national
laboratories. The SDPP is looking for talented students interested
in energy-related issues. |

| Hispanic
College Fund is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated
to develop the next generation of Hispanic leaders. HCF accomplishes
its mission by awarding scholarships to talented undergraduate
students. HCF offers scholarship to students pursuing majors
in business,science,and technology. |

Scholarship Form The National Federation of the Blind is
an organization dedicated for creating opportunities for all
blind persons. The NFB will award more than $100,000 in scholarships. |

TALBOTS SCHOLARSHIP FOR WOMEN
|
2005
Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund , a program of the Talbots
Charitable Foundation, will award $100,000 in scholarships to
women determined to finally get that college degree.

ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL ASSOCIATION for the DEAF
|
Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Financial Aid and Scholarship funds are granted to people who meet the specific criteria
for each award and may not be used for purposes other than what the award has stipulated.
The AG Bell Financial Aid and Scholarship Program offers four awards to help with funding.

PARKE-DAVIS EPILEPSY PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP
|
Parke-Davis: Epilepsy Scholarship Program - High school seniors who have applied to a college or university, and college students continuing
with college or graduate school. Applicants must be currently under a physician's care for the
treatment of epilepsy and must be currently taking anti- epileptic medication
|
