  College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
     
   
The CLEP is a series of examinations that allow individuals to earn college credit for what they know.  It is the most widely accepted credit-by examination program in the United States, as students can earn up to 45 credits through CLEP examinations at Miami Dade College.  Subjects covered by the exam range from languages such as French and Spanish to measuring knowledge in the field of Business.  The tests are 90 minutes long and are administered on computer.  Students receive unofficial scores immediately after their testing session is complete.

    Please visit our office, room 3104, to get a schedule of available CLEP testing dates. Students are required to pay a $35.00 non-refundable fee, to be paid on the date of registration. Only money orders and cash payments are accepted and are to be made out to Miami Dade College. On the date of the exam, students are to pay a $77.00 examination fee. Money Orders, Checks, and personal credit cards are accepted.
