Lourdez Oroza
Dean for Academic Affairs |
|
Hello,
I am Lourdes Oroza, your new Dean of Academic Affairs. I am very happy to be
back at the Wolfson campus where I worked as an adjunct instructor for the ESL
department. During the last five years, I served as the chair for Community
Education at the InterAmerican Campus. During that time, I was also
chairperson of the Business Department and the Computer Information
Systems/Design Technology department at the campus. Before coming to the
College, I was an assistant principal and a teacher for M-DCPS.
I hold a Doctorate in Adult Education and Human Resources Development from
Florida International University and a Masters in Secondary School
Administration with a concentration in ESL and Bilingual Education from the
University of Miami.
As Academic Dean here at the Wolfson Campus, I look forward to working with
the administrators, faculty, staff and students in order to maintain and
promote the level of excellence that the Wolfson family is known for.
