I’m not getting good grades, now what?

In every degree path there are key courses that are crucial for your success in that program. If you score low in these essential courses, chances are that it’s going to be difficult for you to find success on that path. For instance, you want to be doctor, but you have difficulty with chemistry and biology.

If you’re not doing well in certain key classes, perhaps it’s time to think about an alternate pathway. You might find a better fit in the same general area of interest or maybe in a completely new direction. It’s important to think clearly about these matters so you can make informed decisions and aim for what you want from life instead of struggling in a field of study that isn’t right for you.

My situation at home has changed.

Are you facing financial, family, or health-related challenges that are affecting your academic progress? Life happens, and we can’t always predict or control our situations at home. For instance, perhaps you enrolled with the goal in mind of getting an associate degree, in order to help your status as a job candidate. But now you find you don’t have the time or financial resources to pursue that degree. It’s possible that you might get the credentials you need for the job market by going through a certificate program instead. MDC offers a wide variety of solutions to help you face the non-academic tests that life sends your way. Find out how and where to get the help you need today.
