General education requirements at MDC are applied toward the equivalent lower division general education requirements which the university offers.
Transfer Agreement Highlights
The Department of Geography and Geology in the "Charles E. Schmidt College of Science" at FAU accepts MDC specialized courses to transfer into the Geographic Information Systems bachelor program.
Scholarships
Transfer students who apply for scholarships must meet the eligibility requirements of the institution in terms of recognized outstanding achievement/exceptional academic accomplishments, as merit-based scholarships are awarded in limited numbers. However, in many cases, qualified students may receive a financial aid package which includes several types of financial assistance - scholarships and grants, low-interest loans, and employment opportunities.
