Description
Founded in 1919, regionally accredited Kettering University was formerly General Motors Engineering and Management Institute. "America's Premiere Co-Op University" requires that all students participate in paid professional cooperative work experiences. Students alternate 11-week terms of full-time study on campus with 12- week terms of full-time work experience with their co-op employer, which is generally located near home. Thus, one of the many advantages of attending Kettering is the opportunity for the student to earn a salary during work terms.
