When speaking with Miami Dade College women’s basketball head coach Susan Summons now a days you notice there is a spring in her step.
The Miami Dade College Lady Sharks basketball team had a rough road this season. From players lost due to injury, to losing 7 games straight. But the Lady Sharks fought back strong and were able to finish the season 3rd in the Southern Conference.
The Lady Sharks have a lot to be proud of this season. Not only did they qualify for the FCSAA State Tournament which was a feat that was last done in 2011, but they have several players who were also selected to receive All-State and All-Southern Conference honors.
