STEM Camp – Game Development and Robotics

Campers will get hands-on experience in Vex Robotics and Game Development.  They will learn how to build a robot and battle other bots. Campers will also create their own computer game, and challenge others to play. This will be a hybrid 2-week summer camp). Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday on campus; Wednesday and Friday virtual). The STEM Summer Camp is funded by the US Department of Education, STEM EngInE Grant (Educate, Intern and Employ), P031C160143 and the School of Science. Students must complete the camp application in order to be elligible.

The STEM Camp is free of charge for upcoming 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders in Miami-Dade County interested in attending college upon high school graduation and pursuing science careers. This camp will take place July 19th - July 30th, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, please call 305-237-1019 or contact

Language Center

The Language Center at the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development offers a quality language learning program for adult students led by experienced instructors in a professional and cultivating setting. Students can learn English as a Second Language, English Conversation, and several other foreign languages.

We offer flexible schedules with dynamic instructors. Our Foreign Language program offers Spanish at the North Campus and Aventura Outreach Center.

Parking and ID
