Plenary Session
Our Plenary Session features a welcome from MDC President Madeline Pumariega, followed by a Fireside Chat with author Laysha Ward.
Lunch
Lunch will be provided for all participants near Fred Shaw Plaza and in the Building 2 Breezeway. There are four pick-up locations, each with the same food options. Faculty attending the UFMDC Lunch Meeting will pick up their lunch inside the Gymnasium.
Seating will be available throughout the Fred Shaw Plaza and in the Building 2 Breezeway. In the event of rain or extreme heat, participants may take their lunch to the Cafeteria (Building 8), Starbucks (Building 100), and Rooms 2103, 2111, 2114, and 6120.
Concurrent Workshops
Nationally recognized higher education professionals will join our internal facilitators to present a day of learning and development. Participants may select from a range of concurrent sessions on a variety of topics. Sessions consist of carefully crafted, activity-driven workshops that focus on transferable skill-building and integrated approaches to support student success.
Discipline & Department Meetings
This time has been set aside for participants to gather in their working groups across the College.
