What is Generation FINN?

Generation FINN is a free 6-week Dual Enrollment summer program, June 23-July 31st (Mondays-Thursdays) offering in-person courses. Students select two courses and an activity track (STEM, Business, or Liberal Arts) for hands-on activities, and can earn up to 6 college credits. The program also includes optional 'Field Trip Fridays'. Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Deadline to apply: May 30, 2025.

Eligibility: Dual enrollment students with a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA and test scores for all three areas (reading, writing, and math). Middle School students must meet the 3.0 GPA requirement and pass all 3 sections of the college placement examination.

Supporting Program for Math Students

Gateways Math Academy
Students who intend to register for MAT 1033 (Intermediate Algebra) or MAC1105 (College Algebra) can attend the Math Academy for additional support June 16th - June 20th

  • 8:00am - 2:30pm (Lecture/Peer-Led Team Learning)
  • 11:30am - 12:30om (Lunch Period, Lunch provided

Upon successful completion of the Math Academy and enrollment in one of the math courses, students will receive a stipend of up to $500 at the Closing Ceremony on July 31, 2025.
