Generation FINN

What is Generation FINN?

Generation FINN is a free 6-week Dual Enrollment summer program, June 23-July 31st (Mondays-Thursdays) offering in-person courses. Students select two courses and an activity track (STEM, Business, or Liberal Arts) for hands-on activities, and can earn up to 6 college credits. The program also includes optional 'Field Trip Fridays'. Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Deadline to apply: May 30, 2025.

Eligibility: Dual enrollment students with a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA and test scores for all three areas (reading, writing, and math). Middle School students must meet the 3.0 GPA requirement and pass all 3 sections of the college placement examination.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community partners and their commitment to the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus Generation FINN Dual Enrollment Summer Program, 66 students in the 2025 cohort experienced a transformative six-week journey.

Through engaging, hands-on activities and real-world applications, students were immersed in interactive learning and college-level coursework that will leave a lasting impact on their academic and personal growth. Because of this partnership, students were empowered to:

Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strengthen communication and collaboration
Explore diverse academic and career pathways
Earn credits toward their Associate of Arts degrees
