Miami Dade College opened the door to the American Dream on Sept. 6, 1960. Every year on Sept. 6 – officially proclaimed as “I AM MDC Day” in the city of Miami and across Miami-Dade County – thousands of alumni, students, parents, friends, neighbors, faculty and staff come together to celebrate the many lives changed and MDC’s community-wide impact.
