Miami Dade College to Host “Student Life is Scary without Health Insurance” Skit October 30

Miami, October 25, 2013 - In the spirit of Halloween, Miami Dade College (MDC) will host a skit titled “Student Life is Scary without Health Insurance” and a brief information session with Enroll America on the Affordable Care Act on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at noon, at the Wolfson Campus, in the Building 2 Student Life area. Many students, some in costume, are expected to attend and watch fellow students act out a short play. 

Following the skit, a trained representative will share information on the application and enrollment process for the selection of the optimal health insurance plan. Students will also be reminded of the upcoming Enroll America workshops at MDC for the community at large on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Wolfson Campus’ Computer Courtyard / Building 2; on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the North Campus’ Computer Courtyard / Building 2; and on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Kendall Campus’ Computer Courtyard / Building 2.

There will be other fun activities including pictures and candy giveaways during the upcoming student life event, and the media is welcome.
