Message from the SAS PTSA President

On behalf of the newly formed SAS PTSA Executive Board, we would like to share with you what has been accomplished thus far and what the plans are moving forward. An organizational meeting was held at the SAS West Campus in Doral on Tuesday, Octboer 9, 2018.

At the organizational meeting, we established the first SAS PTSA and elected an Executive Board. The Board Members are as follows:

  • President: Aya Olmedillo
  • Vice-President: Paola Guerrero
  • Treasurer: Geeta Rajpal
  • Secretary: Susan Ellinport

We have already submitted the paperwork to be recognized as a division of the Florida PTA, a 501(c)(3) organization, and are awaiting our charter paperwork to come in. We have applied for a Federal Tax Id number, and once all our documents are in order will be establishing our bank account. Once we have the bank account established we will begin the membership drive.

Please contact the SAS PTSA at SAS305PTSA@gmail.com with any questions or suggestions.

Our next General Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November  13th at 10am at the West Campus Building 3800 NW 115 Ave, Room 1246, Doral, FL 33178. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your support!

Aya Olmedillo
