Social Media Awareness Campaign - Top Ten Tips & Letter to Parents

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is promoting the responsible use of social media among its students and parents.  Please click on the link below to access a letter (in 3 languages) regarding this issue from Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho and a list of "Top Ten Tips for Social Media" that delineates how to protect an individual's online reputation through the responsible use of social media.

Please be sure to go over these tips with your child so that they can avoid the potential risks that are inherent in the use of social media.  As always, communication between parents and students is the best way to avoid problems
