My Proudest Moment

In 1986, I took a CPR course and it became my passion. I am especially proud of becoming the first black female American Heart Association CPR Instructor-Trainer/Regional Faculty at MDCC, and being part of the implementation of our Community Training Center for both CPR and ACLS. I enjoy teaching, and if I could redo anything in life, it would be to have completed my studies earlier to teach full time.

What I Would Change, If I Could...

It is a pleasure working at MDCC, and not only working with excellent co-workers but gaining many friends.  When I think back on my greatest contribution to MDCC and the community, it would be to have been a role model for students that I have come to know and having taught thousands of students (both young and old) how to perform CPR.
