•            Provided registration for faculty which included faculty from philosophy, allied health, and nursing disciplines to attend the Florida Bioethics Network Spring Conference

•            Presented a Seminar entitled: Bioethics: Impact on Your Practice as a Healthcare Professional: Kate Callahan April 16, 2001 co-sponsored with the Student Government Association

•            Delivered Mini Class discussions to classes at Medical Campus by the Institute Director Physical Therapy Assisting Practical Nursing September 25, 2001 Midwifery            October 9, 2001

•            Co-Sponsor of the Forum on Stem Cell Research at Medical Campus in collaboration with the Honors College. October 22, 2001.

•           FIPSE  Poster Presentation FIPSE/LAAP Project Directors’ Meeting November 15-18, 2001 San Diego.

•            Collaborated with Baptist Health Systems Ethics Committee to invite faculty and students to attend the ongoing Conversation in Ethics series.

Baptist Hospital Ethics Forum January 30, 2002 – Five faculty attended from various disciplines. When Personnel Values Become Professional Baggage: How to Determine When Your Feelings Interfere with Patient Care.

•            Society for Ethics Across the Curriculum – Gainesville, Florida January 30 – February 3 2002. Five faculty from across the College were sponsored. Conference entitled: Conference on Philosophical Issues in Ethics Across the Curriculum.

•            Supported Florida Bioethics Network University of Miami Conference Clinical Ethics: Debates, Decisions, and Solutions, March 1, 2002. Faculty from across the College were sponsored.

•             MDCC Conference Day arranged for two presentations by Ann-Lynn Denker Practical Strategies for Addressing HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

•            Initiated School of Allied Health Technologies Curriculum Project. Dr. Susan Kass. March 2002.
