The Certificate in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution course is a comprehensive program that encompasses all aspects of the logistics professional field. Training is comprised of 13 modules that include freight forwarding, export compliance to the U.S., documentation, finance, cargo insurance, letters of credit, transport, warehousing, supply chain management, and Mayaga Logistics Software. Participants that complete the course will have a global understanding of the occupation and increase their chances of employment in the logistics field.
The CNA Test Preparation provides students with the basic nursing care skills (i.e., personal and restorative care) needed to prepare for the state exam and work with patients according to predefined guidelines. This 102-hour course focuses on obtaining basic patient care skills, including vital signs, documentations, activities of daily living, body mechanics and basic medical terminology. Students will have experience in the classroom and campus nursing lab. This class is intended for students who will be taking the Industry Certification state exam. Students must be 18 years of age or older.
Students will learn Medical billing, which is the process by which health care providers submit claims to insurance providers (payers), government programs (Medicaid/Medicare), and/or patients directly in order to receive reimbursement for services. Besides invoicing and collecting payments, medical billers are involved with handling denied claims and processing appeals. Students will prepare to take the AAPC Professional Biller Industry Certification exam.
This class will prepare the student for employment as a Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST). This position is responsible for taking administrative and emergency 9-1-1 calls for assistance, and dispatching law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency medical services to assist the public in times of crisis. Students will be trained on interpersonal communications, existing and emerging technologies, telephony, radio systems, emergency management and stress management.
This course helps students develop technical expertise in cloud computing and prepares them for the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. The exam provides individuals in a larger variety of cloud and technology roles with a way to validate their AWS Cloud knowledge and enhance their professional credibility. The exam covers four domains, including: cloud concepts, security, technology, and billing and pricing. Becoming an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is a recommended, optional step toward achieving an Associate-level or Specialty certification.
This course helps students develop technical expertise in solutions architect role and prepares them for the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Solutions Architect Associate certification exam. The course focuses on the essentials of cloud computing, business security and compliance considerations, migrating to the cloud, architecting a cloud server, scalable distributed systems and how to troubleshoot cloud services. The exam validates your ability to effectively demonstrate knowledge of how to architect and deploy secure and robust applications on AWS technologies, define solutions through architectural design principles and provide implementation guidance throughout project life cycle.
This course helps students gain fundamental understanding of Java and prepares for the Java SE Programmer I exam (1Z0-808). This course focuses on working with operators, conditionals, loops design principles, patterns and programming fundamentals. This certification credential is the first of two steps in demonstrating you have the high-level skills needed to become a professional Java developer.
