The Certificate in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) provides individuals in the supply chain logistics field with a comprehensive body of knowledge, best practices, and industry standards. CLTD is an essential asset to both professionals and employers in today’s competitive, global economy. This program is certified by the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).

This CNA course provides the knowledge and skills required to work in the Health Care Industry. This course includes test preparation for the Industry Certification Exam*.
Prerequisites/Corequisite Information: Eligibility to participate in the CNA course, this course is for first time CNA students only. High school diploma or equivalent (must be reflected on MDC transcript). In preparation for the Industry Certification exam, students must complete a CPR class and AHCA & FDLE Level 2 background check. The CNA Industry Certification exam will be announced in class.
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to take the AAPC Professional Biller Certification exam. Students become familiar with the health insurance industry, legal and regulatory issues, and reimbursement methodologies. Students learn principles of medical billing related to proper claim form preparation, submission, payment processing, and follow up. This course is recommended for anyone preparing for a career in a medical billing department at a physician's office, clinic, or similar settings.
This class will prepare the student for employment as a Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST). This position is responsible for taking administrative and emergency 9-1-1 calls for assistance, and dispatching law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency medical services to assist the public in times of crisis. Students will be trained on interpersonal communications, existing and emerging technologies, telephony, radio systems, emergency management and stress management.

Location: This courseis offered at Homestead Campus remotely through Blackboard.
This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage their Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor your solution.
