Diverse Student Organization (DSO)

The Diverse Student Organization (DSO) is an active group of advocates for a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse students on our college campus.

As part of our organization’s mission we are dedicated to the following goals:

  • Raising diversity awareness on campus.
  • Reshaping the perception of students with disabilities.
  • Improving the quality and access of educational accommodations provided to students with disabilities.
  • Reaching out to the community to foster relationships among members with disabilities.

Membership to the organization is open to any student in good academic/disciplinary standing at Miami Dade College.
