   fees development process as outlined in College
   procedures 8150 and 1164

Description:
The Course User Fees workshop is designed for users to learn how to create and submit proposals through CurricUNET using electronic form 109 for course user fees attached to courses. The four possible scenarios are covered through the step-by-step scenarios (New Fee, Fee modification, Fee
Audit, and Fee Audit with Modification). In addition, it will demonstrate how to submit the course information to the approval workflow.

This self-paced workshop can be completed anytime through 8/27/12. It will take about 3 hours to complete and does not have to be completed in one sitting. After Registering for the workshop, wait one full day before accessing the online workshop.


 Objectives

As a result of successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Access the system through the Office of Academic Programs Site 
  • Access the system through the employee portal forms link
  • Access user guides, help icons and step-by-step videos
  • Use examples provided during training
  • Prepare and submit the following proposal types: a. Course with new fee, b. Course with fee modification, c. Course fee audit, d. Course fee
    audit with fee modification

How to Register

Registration for CT&D workshops are through the Student Information and Registration system.  The process for registering for a CTD workshop will be the same as registering for a regular class at MDC.  

New - Easier registration for workshops

You can access the Registration System and register for a CTD workshop using the same user name and password that use to login to your computer.    Example:   Richard Johnson  would be rjohnson     (You will NOT need to create a separate student myMDC account to register for a CTD workshop

Make a note of the Reference Number for the workshop then go to Registration Instructions

Once you have registered for a class, you can print your schedule.    Please make every effort to attend once you've registered as seats are limited.     However, If you need to drop, you can also do this through the Web Registration screen.     CTD classes will appear on your transcript as non-credit classes.
