  • Describe the main points of systems thinking
  • Explore the interdependencies among the elements of a system, looking for patterns
  • Experience their role as participants in systems scenarios - as part of the problem and part of the solution
  • Explore the curriculum tool for building this skill, "systems dynamics," a specific computer simulation technique
  • Design strategies to encourage our students to build on their early systems thinking tendencies, so that they are better equipped to deal with the much more complex systems they will face
