Once items such as email messages are stored in your
archive.pst file, they can be opened and accessed just like other items in your
mailbox. In other words, you can read, reply, forward, print, delete, move
or perform any other action that you normally would to items in your Inbox.
To Open an archive file. (You should turn on the Folder List View -
from the View Menu)

From the File Menu, choose Open/Personal Folders File.

Open Personal Folders Window appears. |

Browse to your H: drive and locate your archive.pst file.
Select it and click OK. |
This
will open your Archive Folders in the Outlook Folder List.. It
will appear above Outlook Today.  |
| 3.
Click the + sign to expand the folder. Archive items can now be
accessed by click on the individual item. You can leave this
Archive file open or you can close it and open at a later time.
When you are ready to Archive other
folders, or to archive the same folders with different dates, just
repeat the steps in the Archive Lesson One.
The newly archived items will be appended to the archive.pst file and
will appear in Outlook if it is opened.
