Welcome to the Security Services Department at the Homestead Campus of Miami-Dade
College. Our main concern is to help our students and visitors in any way that we can.

The information provided is designed to inform, advise, and alert the campus community of the current
programs, policies, and procedures related to crime prevention; and the reporting of
incidents to our office. Please use this site to become familiar with our services and to learn
what your security services department is doing to make you stay here safer and more enjoyable.
Homestead campus is normally open for classes and other student related activities Monday - Friday,
7:00 am - 11:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Entrance on holidays, or other hours must be approved
in advance and a memorandum or work request signed by the department chairperson must be sent to our
department. College personnel may gain access to the campus at any other time by signing in and out
at the security office.
