On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Public Safety Department, it is

to Miami-Dade College, Homestead Campus.
The Public Safety Department is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment in which our
faculty and staff can prepare our students for academic success now and career challenges in the future.
The safety and well being of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our paramount priority.

As members of the Homestead Campus community, we all share the responsibility of maintaining a safe and
healthy environment. The Public Safety Department is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days of the
year. There is always a campus patrol officer(s) on duty to respond to calls for service.
Statistical and policy information are available and in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of
Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, formerly the Student Right to Know Act of 1990.
