The ACCESS Department of the Homestead Campus provides services to students with disabilities. This department is responsible for providing support services and specialized equipment to students with disabilities so they may fully participate in the educational and social activities offered by the college.
MISSION STATEMENT
ACCESS Services meets the commitment of the college to assure that all of its programs and activities are accessible to all students including those with disabilities, as the law requires. ACCESS Services aims to optimize educational opportunities for students with disabilities by analyzing and meeting the individual needs of each student for specialized equipment, services, and accommodations. ACCESS Services seeks to enhance understanding and support within the college community of the equipment, policies, and interventions that will encourage their success.
