Dr. Lourdes Oroza is the President of Miami Dade College's Kendall Campus, located in the Southwest area of Miami-Dade County. She has served MDC in various capacities since 1998, including Dean of Academic Affairs at the Wolfson campus and Chairperson of the Departments of Business, Computer Information Systems, and Community Education at the InterAmerican Campus. From 2008 to 2010, she served as the Provost of Broward College, Judson A. Samuels South Campus.
Dr. Oroza holds a Doctorate in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from Florida International University, a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Miami and a Bachelor's Degree in French from Tulane University. She was twice recognized as a Kellogg Foundation Leadership Fellow and serves on the board of the National Community College Hispanic Council. |
