Summer Camps

It is summer time again! We offer a variety of camps for kids and teens, some of which include specific themes. Whether your children wish to learn new things or just have some old-fashioned summer fun, Miami Dade College has a camp for them. Summer camps are available June through August.

Adult Education: GED & ESOL

The Adult Education program provides the English language skills, adult basic education, and GED preparation that adults need to further their education at the post-secondary level, obtain employment, play positive roles in the education of their children, and become involved community members

Corporate Training

The professionals at Miami Dade College’s Center for Corporate Solutions have the skills and business experience to educate your staff. We can customize our courses and schedules to meet the needs of your business, all while keeping an eye on the bottom line.

Additional Highlights

  • Motorcycle Riding Certification

    This course is a research-based and action-oriented core curriculum designed to teach beginning motorcyclists of all ages the physical and mental skills necessary to ride safely on the street. Student workbooks, helmets and motorcycles are provided. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates are exempt from further testing at the Division of Driver Licenses. Register at MTII or call 305-777-1550.

  • Training for Manufactured Construction Program - TRAMCON

    The TRAMCON career pathway includes on-the-job training and 7 nationally recognized trade certificates. The program courses are offered at no cost* to the participants and the program is multi-entry, and multi-exit. Credit for prior learning may also be awarded. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, achieve a 9 on the TABE exam, and be authorized to work in the United States.

  • OSHA - Susan Harwood Training Grant

    MDC is proud to be a recipient of the Susan Harwood Training Grant from OSHA. This grant is awarded to provide training and education programs for employers and workers at no cost on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of hazards in their workplaces.

  • Certified Financial Planner

    This Certification Program meets the needs of professionals who plan, assess, and evaluate a client's financial future through the development of a comprehensive financial plan. Individuals who successfully complete our program will fulfill the CFP Board 270 contact hour minimum education requirement and become eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Exam.

  • Skills & Opportunity for the New American Workforce

    The Skills & Opportunity for the New American Workforce program offers a contextualized English as Second Language curriculum for retail employees, facilitated by an instructor in a non-traditional, interactive online, and face-to-face educational setting.

  • High School Equivalency Program Grant (HEP)

    MDC is proud to be a recipient of the High School Equivalency Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Education. This grant is awarded to help students who currently work (or have worked) in agriculture obtain their G.E.D.

  • Miami Begins with Me

    Miami Needs YOU to keep our visitors happy and our tourism economy strong! Sign up for the Miami Begins with Me Customer Service Champion Program. We offer four (4) one-hour classes that may be taken in any order and includes breakfast or lunch - all at NO COST to Miami International Airport employees and Miami-Dade Taxi Drivers!

  • The Green Urban Living Center (GULC)

    The Green Urban Living Center (GULC) at the North Campus is an education center dedicated to environmental education, sustainability, healthy eating, natural self-care, organic gardening, overall health and well-being. We are a proud recipient of the Gold Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program Certification

  • The Environmental Center

    The Environmental Center at the Kendall Campus offers a variety of classes, field trips, and workshops for children and adults in our 9-acre, native nature preserve. The Center features a pristine lake, an endangered pine rockland, hammocks, butterfly gardens, native plantings, an organic garden, and a variety of animals.

Parking and ID
