The mission of the Wolfson Campus Security Department is to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and community members which enhances, and is conductive to a learning environment, and to coordinate operations related to security and potential hazard.
The MDC Wolfson Campus Security provides security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to insure the well being of our students; however, the Parking Garage is open 6 days a week and it has its own schedule. ‘’See Brochure on Rules and Regulations”
TRAFFIC and PARKING
Parking and Traffic rules and regulations have been and traffic rules and regulations have been established to maximize safety and parking convenience. All vehicles brought on campus by students or employees must be properly registered. Student and Employee Decal must be properly displayed on the back rear bumper. Decals may be obtained at the Student Life Office in room 2101 for students and Employees at Parking Administrative Office on 5th. A copy of the regulations and information is available at the parking garage Administrative Office. All vehicles parked on campus without a current parking decal are subject to be booted, towed at owner’s expense.
STUDENT PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARDS
All credit students and employees are entitled to MDC identification card that will allow them access to the parking facility, use of the Learning Resources Center (Library), and the Learning Support Center (LAB, Tutoring). MDCard is required when seeing an advisor, registering for classes and paying for classes, even to get discount at local fast food restaurants near by the College. Students and employees should report to the Student Life Office in room 2101 to have a card made. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00-4:30P.M.
