General education requirements at MDC are applied toward the equivalent lower division general education requirements which the university offers.
Transfer Agreement Highlights
Students may transfer into the College of Engineering program, provided they have completed the Pre-Engineering Associate in Arts degree and have achieved a minimum grade point average of 2.50 in the required pre-professional courses (calculus, differential equations, chemistry, physics, and calculus).
Scholarships
Transfer students who apply for scholarships must meet the eligibility requirements of the institution in terms of recognized outstanding achievement/exceptional academic accomplishments, as merit-based scholarships are awarded in limited numbers. However, in many cases, qualified students may receive a financial aid package which includes several types of financial assistance - scholarships and grants, low-interest loans, and employment opportunities.
