Student Learning Outcomes – ENC1101 English Composition 1
This dashboard presents Fall 2025 ENC1101 assessment results for Learning Outcome #1 (Communication) and Learning Outcome #3 (Critical Thinking).
Participating students completed WritePlacer*, an on-demand essay assessment in which they write a 300–600 word essay in response to a prompt. Essays are scored electronically on a holistic 0–8 scale, with additional feedback across six dimensions of writing. The dashboard includes score distributions, performance levels, and the percentage of students meeting benchmark expectations.
Results reflect performance only for students who completed the WritePlacer assessment. Scores represent single-attempt performance.
