Biological Sciences Laboratory information

Miami Dade College is committed to providing a safe laboratory environment for its faculty, staff, students and visitors. Find below the 3 major requirements for all enrolled student.

  1. Students must attend the first lab. Failure to do so may result in you being dropped from the lab to admit another student who did attend the first lab.
  2. All Laboratory students must wear long hair pulled back, a lab coat, and closed-toe shoes. Lab coats are required for all laboratories. Students must purchase the lab book, lab packet, lab coat, and goggles before attending the first class.   3. All students attending any laboratory course should bring with them a ruler, calculator, pencil, pen, colored pencils, and sharpie markers.The above requirements must be met for you to attend all laboratories in the Biological Sciences including Anatomy/Physiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, Environmental Science, Landscape Technology, Microbiology, and Zoology.
