The Custodial Services Department is determined to assure a quality, clean, healthy and safe environment. We are also committed to follow the rules and regulations of OSHA – Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Our department provides all custodial services from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 midnight - Monday through Friday. Weekend services are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. As part of the Custodial Services, the Moving Crew is an experienced team of staff members that accommodate the campus with its moving needs as well as preparing and setting up for special events. All moving work orders must be submitted through the uniform online work request available through District Facilities Operations.
Emergency Custodial Issues or Trouble Reports
The Custodial Services Department runs a Help Desk that handles all trouble reports. Trouble Reports are for unexpected trouble or emergency custodial issues needing immediate action such as slip hazards, spills, broken glass, and water leaks. The Help Desk operates from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. If any of these issues arise, please report them by contacting the department at (305) 237-1003. Should issues arise concerning the air conditioning during regular business hours, please contact the Plant Maintenance Department at (305) 237-1710. For any issues occurring after hours please call Public Safety at (305) 237-1100.
