The Facilities Management Division of Miami Dade College plans, designs, constructs, equips, maintains and operates buildings, infrastructure and grounds, and provides related services to support the College’s mission of education and public service while balancing constraints and still providing state of the art, aesthetic and high quality educational facilities.


The Facilities Management Division is regarded as a world-class organization in providing responsible stewardship, excellence, innovation and leadership in the development of educational facilities and resources in support of the education and public service mission of Miami Dade College.

Contracts Management area is responsible for the development and maintaining of all facilities management outsourced services contracts and the maintaining current of the database for all RFQ’s and contract required documents.
Maintenance Operations area is responsible for the maintaining, repair and upkeep of the physical plant and grounds of Miami Dade College which consists of 134 buildings across 8 campuses totaling approximately 6.6 million net square feet spaces
Facilities Planning area is responsible for all facilities inventory and State reporting functions including the implementation of the annual Capital Improvement Plan and the Educational Plant Survey
Project Management area is responsible for all facets of major and minor capital projects development for the college’s 8 campuses from inception, through design, construction, move in and post occupancy evaluation.
